What we do
1. Understand Macro-tendencies: Detect, understand, and forecast social and technological macro-tendencies that have impact in society’s way of thinking and behaving, in the individual and collective sense.
2. Design Experiences at Humanscale:We create brands customized to the needs and tastes of its users that generate value to their daily lives. Based on that, we design the spaces collaborating with industry leaders in architecture and interior design.
3. Implement and Operate Products: This phase is where ideas and design materialize through collaboration with investors, architects, developers, designers, creatives, chefs and artists. This step includes the design and implementation of the daily operation of the products.
4. Enable & Scale with Tech: Once the product is implemented and operational, we build from scratch and/or adapt existing technology to improve the user experience and facilitate operation.
5. Itererate: Take feedback from the process and repeat it to improve it and make it increasingly precise, observing the interaction of brands and projects with those who inhabit them and how they relate to each other.

Co-founder and Managing Director of ITERATIVA, Andres designs and oversees the operation and strategy of the brands under the ITERATIVA umbrella. Also, he designs the financial structure of ITERATIVA’s projects. His job includes sourcing new projects and generating relations with investors and financial institutions.
From 2011 until 2017, Andres led the investment efforts of Peninsula Investments Group in Mexico, investing more than US$100M in equity, US$250M in AUM and US$4000M in total sales.
Andres has a Master in Science degree from MIT and a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.

Co-founder and Managing Director of ITERATIVA His job is to locate zones with high yield potential, investigate ways to maximize the real estate value and control the development processes. During the last three years Emilio has developed residential projects that total more than 22,000 m2 with total sales of 600 million pesos. During that period he also created one of the best known Co-working company in Mexico city.
Mr. Illanes has a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.

ALFONSO
LÓPEZ-VELARDE
Co-founder and chief architect at ITERATIVA. His team specializes in architectural design, detail construction planning and architectural supervision on site. Prior to ITERATIVA, he was project leader at Project A01 Architects in Vienna and for artist Tobias Rehberger in Frankfurt, working on different scale projects in Europe and Asia.
He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at Universidad Iberoamericana Campus Mexico City (2007), before undertaking a Master in Architecture and Performative Design at the renowned Städelschule Architecture Class in Frankfurt (2012)
